Today is the last Monday of 2018 and as a tradition I propose a “collage” of the most significant works of my journey in this year. For this Monday that is also the Christmas Eve I show you this view overlooking the ocean from the fortress of the island Inis Mor, one of the Aran Islands. It is a painting composed of three canvases and the whole format is 52.5×115.5 cm. Every time I drive through the new area of Porta Garibaldi in Milan I am always fascinated by the skyscraper “Bosco” and by the surrounding buildings. Monday 10th December 2018 – Skyline

In this work I portrayed the sky of Milan above the Branca tower and the Cathedral. The architectural structures are small and not too detailed because I like to highlight the vast and colorful grandeur of the sky, as if it were a great sea. With little touches of spatula I inserted some lights in the middle of the buildings: I like even if with a few taps enter the life of the city.
