Monday 6th January 2020 – Dock

For the first Monday of 2020, I liked to start it with something that conveys a sense of openness. I found it in this dock, in the lights of the setting sun. The structure of the port is divided into two parts and helps to look at the center of the work where the lighthouse that acts as a rock is located, in the midst of those colors that have left me speechless. Monday 13th January 2020 – Trenord

I like these fluorescent green colors of Trenord’s new Caravaggio, as soon as I saw them I spontaneously painted them! Yes I was fascinated by this strong impact of the green color in the train carriage, very powerful! That yellow line, on the other hand, conveys a life that does not make me sink into the abyss of the gray asphalt. The […]

Monday 27th January 2020 – Duomo Square

In this large Duomo Square I used a new technique: water-based paint and enamel on canvas. The inspiration that prompted me to use these two new pictorial tools was to see the works of Emilio Vedova exhibited at the moment in the spectacular Sala delle Cariatidi of Palazzo Reale in Milan. The pictorial gestures and the rhythm that Vedova gave to each of his works really impressed me. It was an exhibition that made me want to bring back his […]
