Last week in Bologna started the project “Tosca sposa l’arte“, and the day of the opening came also a small group of people from Bagnacavallo, to whom I wanted to present myself starting from my origins and the reason that pushed me to take the path of art. At one point, one of them asked me “Why do you use colors so vivid?” I replied that for me using vivid colors is a way of looking at things with wonder and joy. As in this painting, present in the atelier Tosca Spose, which is a triptych of 52.5 x 115.5 cm and depicts the new dock of the port of Rimini. It is a subject that belongs to the origin of my pictorial research, and I used orange, blue and red very vivid because even if it is a subject that I have done so many times it is always fresh, new, never banal to me.
Happy monday and good week to all
