Today’s painting is a view of the Rimini Harbor, painted in 2007 at the beginning of my artistic journey. All the work on the water that I have continued over the years, starts from here. In this view there are hints of the lighthouse and skyscraper structures, but the absolute protagonist are the reflections of the water in the lower part. At the beginning my attention was entirely focused on matter and color, there are some points where the painting is very thick just to convey a deepened love of mine for the life of water. Last week I had the opportunity to review this Harbor and I was excited, and I realized that if I could try again what I had felt when I had done it, it means that this painting has something great inside, which will remain forever . This aspect of art is truly mysterious and fascinating, and I hope to experience it more and more.
Happy Monday and good week everyone!
