The dock in Rimini is my favourite open space! I always carry the sea inside me. In this oil on a small canvas (20x50cm) we see in the foreground the entrance of the port deliberately painted with those dark colors of Prussian blue, just to enhance the brightness of the sky and the gentle movement of the white clouds that move the gray clouds of the storm.
Painting in the small format is particularly difficult because in a few details it is necessary to come to a synthesis.
In this glimpse of light there is this synthesis, given by the succession of the trees of the boats and the architectural elements of the dock that characterize this place that always inspires me with great inspiration and tenderness.
Happy Monday and good week everyone!
