Riflessi in barca, 160x120cm, olio su tela
“If you want to be universal tells about your country” (Balzac). A friend reminded me this quote from Balzac and told me that you should never forget your roots, because they are the ones who really make it possible to talk to everyone. This large work (160x120cm), “Boat Glares”, is one of the first works that I made on the theme of the sea. In my first works the sharp movements dominate, as well as water painted in all its intense shades of blue. My work is made of reports and meetings that help me to understand the way to go. The quote of Balzac was the move that prompted me to take more into account the pictorial work on the water, and I am happy to present my new work on the sea in Rimini! Happy Monday and have a good week!
