In this painting there is a very intense moment of the day, which is when the sun is about to set, and above the city you can see this riot of colors, mixed together, which create a very beautiful energy.
The artwork measures 60x200cm, and I lived it in every part of the sky, and as soon as I hung it in my living room I had a very strong backlash of emotion, which made me say for a moment: “I would like to keep this forever! “.
Over time I am enriching more and more the tools with which I manipulate the color on the canvas, from wipers, to rags or sheets of paper towels, to make my mark felt and give the effect of movement on the canvas.
The growth in the way of painting is never an immediate process, it is always a very slow passage, made up of very small steps.
I was at the barber’s to cut my hair and I was struck by his passion for his work: he told me that he always tries to make a cut that represents people as they are, and that this process is very difficult to teach to others. It is something that one finds oneself in at some point.
I thought that this is the case for me too, I learned my way of painting one step at a time, making my own lived moments, intuitions of others as well, and sensational mistakes.
Happy Monday and good week everyone!
