The turquoise and blue sky of these sunny days is so bright that the white of the Cathedral’s facade seems to blend into the sky. In the lower part of the painting there is the life of the city, moving and swirling, made by the volume of dark colored masses, sometimes brightened by the yellows and reds. The wires are the link between heaven and earth and give structure and momentum to the picture.
I like painting the sunny Cathedral in the chaos of metropolitan traffic.
Happy Monday and good week!
