Monday 1st May 2017 – At work

In this painting there is a woman working at her desk, sitting in front a computer.
I portrait the woman from the back, the posture and the light communicate concentration and dignity, the locks of hair give a sense of sweetness.
The work is first and foremost something that makes you get out of yourself and put yourself in service of something bigger, as a friend reminded me yesterday.
