My Christmas wishes come through this little painting about the moorings. It really takes something concrete to hope.
For me this hope passes through fragile elements such as ropes: they are my attempt to cling to life, which – I realize – is actually a great gift. The love I have for the nature of water manifests itself inside that white lump near the reflection of the pole. For me the beauty of the things is always something physical and concrete, which I try to revive through painting.
In this painting, the thought that I feel to share is that my need to be saved in life passes through that rope.
This is the last Monday before Christmas, so happy Monday and above all Merry Christmas to everyone.
