Back from an incredible trip to Iceland, I immediately started working and in this painting, one of the first, I depicted the peninsula of Tjornes, in north-eastern Iceland. I wondered what I wanted to focus on in these new Icelandic paintings, and I decided to start with the vivacity and brilliance of those greens. The wild and uncontaminated nature of these places highlights the contrast of the blue of the ocean and the bright colors of the expanses of the lawns in a real powerful way. A summer full of colors that rest your heart and recharge your batteries with a thousand of challenges. Happy Monday and good week everyone!
