While I was painting this glimpse of Turati in Milan, I wanted to focus on the hardness of the buildings, crossed by the lights of the offices and by the movements of the tram wires. The road seems almost wet, and the reflections link to both directions. This artwork is exhibited until June 2 in Rimini at Spazio Augeo, next to an artwork by the great master Mario Sironi who said: “Art does not need to be nice, but requires greatness”. I feel this sentence very true, and the greatness of which Sironi speaks is the same that I try to transmit in this view of Milan.
Happy monday and good week everyone!
