Santo Stefano, 100x70cm, olio su tela
This week I present a seascape made in 2013. It is a framework which I called Santo Stefano, because it represents the wet dock of Rimini on Boxing Day 2013, when there was a great sunset, I still remember like it was yesterday! That day it was as if the heavens were opened, and the warm, shimmering light of sunset reverberated in the reflections of the sea. I tried to make this show into the canvas you see.
There is a look almost of joy in the colors of the sky, which prevails on the dark tones of the boats and water.
Happy Monday, and good week to all!
