I’m just back from the trip to Ireland, and I present a little taste, this oil on canvas of 35x45cm.
During the journey it was really exciting to finally see some precise glimpses, which I had been painting for years only by pictures. This artwork represents the Dun Aengus, a fortress from c. 1100 BC, overlooking the sea 100 meters above sea level, in Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands. We visited also Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher, which we saw from below with the boat and from above walking on the edge of these huge cliffs. All these colors and breathtaking views I would like to put in my canvases in the coming months.
I wish everyone a good summer and above all a good Monday!
