Painting Malpensa today, with the covid-19 that never stops touching our lives, makes me want even more to give my contribution through what I see and discover gradually. The lights of the sky of this period, at sunset, really make me rejoice and in this work there is a hint of those warm colors. The structure of the work is determined by the red line, which indicates the direction to go. The planes are at a standstill, a situation we would all like to see changed, and yet it persists. Of the many lines that are on the airport runways, I choose some, the most essential, to give stability to the work. In this period I see in these lines my heart beating, which pushes me not to stop at the anguish and look at those presences (these lines, or the moorings of the port, or the wires of Milan) that keep me alive.
Happy Monday and good week to everyone!
