On this first Monday of 2021 I like starting with a wide view of the sky above the city of Milan, full of warm and cold colors mixed; in the painting the most accentuated point of light is in the right bottom, where the white color attracted me the most.
I used medium cadmium red to capture that fiery cloud above the skyscrapers: red is the color of life, it is the color of love for the things that we do and share. When there is a heart that beats and is moved by beauty, it is a heart that lives.
We lived special Christmas Holidays; this pandemic for me is bringing an essentiality to things to do that allows me to enjoy more of what is beautiful. With this hopeful and energetic sky I wish you a happy first Monday of 2021!
