In September everything starts again and for this new beginning I thought abaut a view of a San Francisco’s street. Few traits and few elements, because starting a new day, not everything appears to my eyes clear and defined on the horizon; I like to start with a few things, with all the tension being thrown from a point up, towards the orange.
My work on SFO roads began with some of Wayne Thiebaud’s works, an artist that I’ve seen and appreciated at the MOMA of San Francisco. In his works I found an interesting reading key, which allowed me to embark on a new road. Sometimes I let myself be driven by pictorial attraction and I try to find out how another’s eyesight can also grow my own.
Happy first Monday of September!
