This Monday I speak about the picture that opens the month of June in the 2016 calendar “Utility and Beauty”: Wet dock, 50x80cm, oil on canvas. My paintings always start from concrete physical places, that I capture and on which I work in my studio, to give space and voice to the lived moment.
In this work I wanted to bring out the orange colors of the sunset because they are colors that bring joy, in order to start the day with good humor. Keeping with joy and good humor, happy Monday, and good start all week!
