Friday I visited “Artissima”, an important contemporary art fair in Turin.
I saw several works of the painter Alessandro Busci, in particular I loved a mountainscape, with a very vibrant use of color spread on an iron support which is called cor-ten (if you want to know more visit his website www.alessandrobusci.com).
From this work I saw, today I offer you this glimpse of snow-covered mountains, oil on canvas.
In this work I put on the left the rocky side of the mountain, more sharp and slippery, with strokes of matter to bring out the important parts; right instead there is the snow mixeed with the blue of the sky.
I strongly believe that the dialogue with the works of other artists is a way to reflect on the reasons of my work.
Happy Monday, and good week!
