When I was in Iceland I was very impressed to see Vik’s black beach. The black color is given by the ash of the volcanoes that turns into sand. The contrast of black with the greens of the promontory and the white of the waves is really exciting. The colors of Iceland are entering my canvases with these contrasts, surreal in our eyes but real in those lands full of natural charm. I like the fact that traveling is a way to innovate my artistic research more and more. Happy Monday and good week everyone!
