The painting of this Monday comes from a picture of the lagoon seen from Chioggia, because the structure of these three “briccole” struck me very much. It is a restful painting due to the colors of the water, but at the same time it has a dramatic atmosphere in the movement of the ropes that dock with the poles. The ropes are as if they came out of the picture, from us, like holds in this stormy sea we are experiencing.
