This painting from the Airport series had an intense phase of work, never ending! When I realized that the painting was finished it was a real liberation, because that plane seemed to me imprisoned by some things that didn’t work, the sky was initially blocked, without decisive and harmonious movements as you can see it now. This painting on Malpensa airport took me some time before finishing it, about a month.
