2020 Piazza Duomo 150x180cm tecnica mista su tela

Monday 12th October 2020 – Duomo’s Square

In recent years, my research on the Duomo has expanded. Before I almost always concentrated on the Madonnina that overlooked the intertwining of the tram wires. 2019 Duomo di Milano 23x31cm olio su carta

Monday 23rd September 2019 – Milan’s Cathedral

The twilight lights above the Milan Cathedral are full of wonder. Then, after the backlash, I try to convey on the white surface of the canvas what excited me most. In this paper, in the upper part the are the colors of the night loom, while among the spiers still we see the warm tones of the sunset. In the end, the touch of bright color on the Madonnina gives identity to this place that always reawakens me, even from […]

2019 Squarci Milano 20x50cm olio su tela

Monday 2nd September 2019 – Slashes

In this painting we see Piazza Cordusio in Milan, it is a crossroads always full of wires and every time I cross the street I am struck. Almost all the work is painted with a spatula: it is one of my favourite tools because it allows me to grasp […]

2019 Skyline 60x200cm olio su tela

Monday 26th August 2019 – Skyline

The sky of Milan in some periods is particularly suggestive, because its colors almost seem to come out directly from the color tube. In the framework of the picture I always feel that the sky must have more space because that’s where my eyes want to stop and contemplate. The Milan skyline remains thinner, in backlight, precisely because the city is like a spectator of the view. With these flashes of lived beauty, I wish you a good Monday!
