Monday 27th January 2020 – Duomo Square

In this large Duomo Square I used a new technique: water-based paint and enamel on canvas. The inspiration that prompted me to use these two new pictorial tools was to see the works of Emilio Vedova exhibited at the moment in the spectacular Sala delle Cariatidi of Palazzo Reale in Milan. The square is a meeting place, where everyone can take a walk, with his own thoughts. I like to see the light-heartedness of the people who pass through Piazza Duomo in Milan, so welcoming.
