The wild nature of Iceland has not struggled to get into my canvases. I wanted to focus on the creeks of the fjords overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to show these wonderful openings. In the foreground the light traces the path that leads to the tip of the fjord. This Monday I present you a 2016 paper, depicting a green stretch of Irieland overlooking the ocean. To create movement in the expanse and bring out the shine of the green lawn I used tempera and oil pastels. The transparency of the water finds its maximum point in the central part of the work, where it appears as a breath of wind.
