In this painting the warm colors of fuchsia, orange and yellow make me want to go and leave. My attention is focused on the lines that define the parking area, the only elements well outlined because they allow me to give a precise direction in the middle of indefiniteness. Thanks to a person who works in the safety in construction sites, I had the chance to see a large abandoned area behind the Arese shopping center, where from around 1965 to 2005 Alfa Romeo gave work to over 25,000 people. Struck by the history of these places, I have visited and revisited the large parking area several times and started working on it.
