In this Irish painting there is a light that goes beyond the cliffs at the bottom and that creates an atmosphere of contagious glow. For this Monday that is also the Christmas Eve I show you this view overlooking the ocean from the fortress of the island Inis Mor, one of the Aran Islands. It is a painting composed of three canvases and the whole format is 52.5×115.5 cm. Monday 3rd December 2018 – Melancholy

This Monday I present you a 2016 paper, depicting a green stretch of Irieland overlooking the ocean. To create movement in the expanse and bring out the shine of the green lawn I used tempera and oil pastels. The transparency of the water finds its maximum point in the central part of the work, where it appears as a breath of wind.
