This Monday I present you the work “On the top”, which I had made in November during a lesson in an elementary school. After the lesson we created an exhibition to show all the artwork made by the children. The exhibition is entitled “D’in su la vetta (On the top)”, I have visited it on Saturday and I must say that the draws exposed were truly beautiful and intense! Happy Monday, and good week to all!

I was inspired by the landscape that I saw by the Monte Brè in Lugano (CH). I chose warm colors in order to make the moment of the sunset over the mountain tops more intense. I chose the format of 30x120cm in order to exalt the brush strokes of the sky and the foreground, focussing in particular on the contrasts between the reds and the blues.
