2020-Oceano-120x140cm-olio-su-tela

Monday 27th April 2020- Ocean

In moments like these I feel more than ever the need to dive into wider horizons to breathe deeply! Like in this ocean that I had seen in Portugal. I miss traveling and seeing beautiful places, and during the waiting this painting helps me to immerse myself with the colors in these scenarios, where the border between the horizon and the sky disappears to give space to that beam of light that makes the atmosphere so full of surprise. 2019 Vik Islanda 52x42cm olio su tela

Monday 9th September 2019 – Vik

When I was in Iceland I was very impressed to see Vik’s black beach. The black color is given by the ash of the volcanoes that turns into sand. 2010 Islanda 150x250cm olio su tela

Monday 1st July 2019 – Iceland

I have just come back from this eight-day trip to Iceland, where I literally got drunk on the colors of this very special and wild nature. Thinking about this Monday, I fished out a work that I did in 2010 right on Iceland: then I had only started from a photo I had seen on a book and I braved myself creating these strong contrasts that seemed unrealistic. Instead, now that I’ve finally been there, nine years later, it strikes […]
