The rough sea always arouses mine curiosity, and I want to look at it more closely, not missing a wave and diving in the thousands of shades of colors created on the shore. Monday 24th July 2017 – Camogli

In these days on social media I see a lot of photos of beaches, seas, mountains … so while I’m waiting to leave for my holidays, I go back with my mind and heart in Liguria, Camogli. In this painting I wanted to dwell on the transparent reflections of the shore near the rocks where the sunlight becomes dazzling. When I see the rough sea, my mood is full of wonder. At first this artwork seemed abstract as an image, but with little gestures and movements the space took shape up to the wave in the foreground, which expresses all the strength of the water in the crash on the shore. Last Saturday I went to the Artistic High School Carlo Dell’Acqua, in Legnano, to tell about my work and to make a live performance. I told students that painting is hunger and thirst for beauty, and need to shout something to the world.
