Monday 16th November 2016 – Clouds

This Monday I want to show you “Clouds”, f 50x40cm, oil on canvas. In this work, the sky is the absolute protagonist. I wanted to make it lively, load. In the left part of the work the light  prevails and contrasts with the intense blue of the sky. There is a great opportunity to see this picture: Wednesday, 9th December at 7.00  PM at the Art Gallery Bianca Maria Rizzi & Matthias Ritter (Milan, via Cadolini 27). I’ll give to all the participants a […]

Monday 22nd February 2016 – Sunset above the wet dock

This Monday I propose you an artwork about the sea! The title is “Sunset on the wet dock”, and is an oil on canvas of 70x80cm. While I was painting, I was interested in doing something that breaks in the sunset and that’s why I put that fluorescent pink in the sky, reflected in the sea. I often need something strange, unexpected, to be able to fix in the memory what I saw. Happy Monday, and good week!

Monday 29th February 2016 – Deep Sunset

The warm colors of the sunset are the ones I look for most in this last period. In this work, small in size (25x30cm), I wanted to paint the colors of the sky, at sunset, in their shades of red, orange, purple and blue, above the skyline of Milan. This work is part of a triptych, next Monday I’ll show you the second element. Happy Monday, and good week.

Monday 7th March 2016 – Skyline (triptych)

This Monday as promised I present you the second part of the triptych of the skyline of Milan (three oils on canvas measuring 25x30cm). The aspect that I wish to highlight in this work is the relationship between the skyscrapers and the sky: not only a contrast of colors, but also a mixture of forms. The buildings aren’t net, but are blend with the orange of sunset, which gives them heat. Happy Monday, and good week!
