In this painting I portrayed the dawn on the Coolidge glacier, on the Monviso; I did this work starting from a photo that I cut out from the magazine Montagne, which has made a special right on the glaciers, with beautiful photos. Monday 5th February 2018 – Fresh snow

I start a painting from a picture taken by me, to help me in the structure of the painting, but then I abandon the picture to let the experience enter inside of the canvas.
